Senior Account Manager Kiri Canavan dedicates her time each week to volunteering for Orange Sky Gold Coast. Orange Sky supports community members experiencing homelessness or hardship by providing free laundry and shower services.
Variety, the Children’s Charity
Variety—the Children’s Charity of Queensland—supports kids who are sick, disadvantaged, or living with a disability to be the best they can be no matter what life throws at them, no matter their ability.
Each year, thousands of Queensland kids receive support from Variety when they need it most. The Byron Insurance Solutions team loves getting involved with our insurer partners to support their community initiatives.
The team recently enjoyed spending a day with High Street Underwriting Agency to support Variety’s active kids program, delivering the opportunity for children living with a disability to try out a range of sports in a supportive environment.
Mater Chicks in Pink Fun Run
The team were proud entrants in the 2024 Mater Chicks in Pink Fun Run, lacing up their running shoes and successfully smashing their fundraising goal. Supporting Queensland hospitals to fund free, personalised and practical breast cancer support services, plus items such as mastectomy bras, wigs, and scarves, which create a positive, significant, and real impact.
